Victoria & James | The Greenbrier

How do we even BEGIN to tell you about how incredible Victoria & James' mountain wedding was!? For starters, the wedding took place at The Greenbrier, which was as stunning and lovely as you would imagine it to be! This was the first time that Josh and I had the opportunity to visit this historic grand hotel in Sulphur Springs, and it was nothing short of enchanting. We knew we were in love with this charming hotel the moment we arrived when a horse and carriage lazed by us, with the driver waving a friendly hello towards us. (We happened to have our cameras out and ready, so this little moment made it into the beginning of the wedding film!)

Victoria & James' wedding ceremony took place in the newly constructed Greenbrier Chapel, which was completely decked out in the most gorgeous array of greenery and florals, thanks to the amazing and talented team at Love Is In The Air! Victoria & James' nuptials were so sweet and sincere, and my favorite part of the whole day was when Victoria's father said a blessing over the couple before they were pronounced husband and wife. (Cue the tears!) Upon exiting the chapel, Victoria & James were surprised with their own carriage ride, which gave them a few moments to be alone immediately after the ceremony. (Cue more tears!)

Beyond the obvious history of The Greenbrier, Victoria & James have their own special history there. Victoria began working at The Greenbrier at 16 years old, and what was supposed to be a summer job, ended up being a 6 year employment. Victoria & James spent countless weekends at The Greenrbier hiking mountains, playing golf, and spending time with Victoria's family, so it's no wonder that they wanted this special place to also be the site where they said "I do"! After the wedding ceremony, Victoria & James had the chance to take us and photographer Corrine Kensington (see her BREATHTAKING photos of the day below!) to several areas of the hotel that held special importance to them as a couple, including the spot where they shared their first kiss! (Don't worry, if you're wondering if we got footage of them exchanging a sweet kiss in that location, the answer is most definitely YES!)

Last but not least, the reception took place at The Greenbrier Summit Activities Barn, which held the most incredible view of the mountains of West Virginia! Cocktail hour was held at the barn's infinity pool, and dinner was served in the barn itself. Guests were simply in AWE when they saw the stunning decorations that filled the barn! (Serious praise goes out to Love Is In The Air, A Paper Wedding, Happily Ever After Rentals, and Castle Event Lighting for their collaboration on this!) We were so honored to work with each amazing vendor on this beautiful wedding. Every person and team involved made this day a dream come true! We'll just have to let you watch the wedding film to see for yourself just how spectacular every detail was!

Victoria & James, thank you for giving us the opportunity to film your special day! You are such a wonderful couple and a true joy to work with! It was truly a fairytale wedding!
