Wanxin & Paul | University of Virginia
There is just so much to love about Wanxin & Paul's late summer wedding at the University of Virginia. For starters, they wanted to harmoniously blend several different backgrounds and cultures within their wedding day. Both Wanxin & Paul are originally from Chengdu, China, but between the two of them, they have also lived in Virginia, Silicon Valley, Boston, and NYC. You'll notice in the film that Wanxin chose to wear a beautiful, classic white wedding gown and veil for the ceremony, but then changed into a traditional red Chinese dress for the reception. (Which was SO stunning on her, by the way!) We also love how they chose wistful pink and red fresh florals, yet also incorporated Bamboo elements in the reception.
What stood out to us most though was how Wanxin & Paul wanted to make their faith the focal point of their wedding. And let me tell you, they did just that. Several times during the day, I found myself brushing away tears as they shared their hearts for God and for each other!
This film was especially fun for Josh and I because it was the first time that we added couple interviews! We LOVE how it made their wedding film feel more personal and intimate.
We hope you all enjoy!
